Directions:
Balele Mountain Lodge is situated 27 kilometers from Wakkerstroom, in between Volksrust and Newcastle, and 3 hours from Johannesburg International Airport. Drive towards Heidelberg on the N3 highway, and take the Balfour turn-off. Drive through Standerton, Volksrust and Wakkerstroom and turn right on the Utrecht road. Keep right on this road through Groenvlei, again turn right towards Utrecht. 4km turn right on D154 towards Balele Mountain Trout Lodge.
From Pretoria drive through Delmas, Leandra, Standerton, Volksrust and Wakkerstroom. Turn right on the Utrecht gravel road through Groenvlei and again turn right towards Utrecht. 4km turn right on D154 towards Balele Mountain Trout Lodge.
From Newcastle drive through Utrecht past the golf course and over a steel bridge. Keep on this road till you reach the first crossing and turn left towards Wakkerstroom. After approximately 19 km turn left on D154 and follow this road to Balele Mountain Trout Lodge
