Map/Directions to Ladismith Country House
Directions:
From Cape Town – N1 Highway (20km from Ladismith)
From Cape Town, take the N1 highway towards Paarl / Worcester
Continue through the Huguenot Tunnel until you reach signs for Worcester.
Take this third turn-off to Worcester on your right.
Continue with this road until you reach a sign for Robertson going to your left
Take this left turn-off to Robertson and continue until you reach Robertson
Drive through Robertson’s main road and follow the signs to Ashton / Montague
Travel through the town of Ashton and continue with this road until you reach Montague.
You are now on the famous Route 62.
Drive straight through Montague towards Barrydale
Drive straight through Barrydale towards Ladismith keeping on the Route 62.
20km to Ladismith Country House (18km Gravel Road & 2 km Dirt Road.
Turn right at the first T-junction in Ladismith (next to the Route 62 Café).
This road will take you out of Ladismith.
Carry on with this road for approximately 10km until you reach the Ladismith Country House signs or Hoeko Valley signs next to the road.
Turn left at these signs.
You will now travel through the Hoeko Valley on a tar road
This road becomes a gravel road after 8km.
Approximately 2km from the start of the gravel road, you will see Ladismith Country House signs on your left.
Turn left at these signs and a warm Karoo welcome awaits you!
7km to Ladismith Country House (7km Dirt Road)
Turn left at the first stop street in Ladismith.
Turn right at the next street (Church Street).
Go straight over the four-way stop (Standard Bank is on your left)
At the next four-way stop, turn left.
The road makes a bend and the road will fork
Keep on the right fork, which will become a dirt road
We are situated 7km further, on the right hand side.
From Knysna - N2:
Follow the road towards George on the N2
Once in Knysna road in George, take the right turn-off towards Oudtshoorn.
From George airport, follow the directions towards Oudtshoorn.
You will continue over the Outeniqua Pass.
Continue on this road until you reach Oudtshoorn.
Once you have reached Oudtshoorn, follow the roadsigns towards Calitzdorp / Ladismith.
Calitzdorp is situated 50km from Oudtshoorn.
You will travel over the Huisriver Pass. About 10km before you reach Ladismith (Ladismith is situated 40km from Calitzdorp), you will see “Ladismith Country House – 10km” signs.
Take this right turn-off.
Continue with the tar road until it becomes a gravel road.
The next entrance on your left is Ladismith Country House.
