Directions via the n1 highway to Franschhoek via the n2 highway away from the Cape Town pass the wine lands one stop Engen petrol station as well as the first Stellenbosch turnoff after the petrol station. Take the first Stellenbosch turnoff and keep on travelling to Stellenbosch. This road will end into a t junction. Turn right at the t junction and travel into and straight through Stellenbosch no turnoffs and turn right into over Hellshoogte pass after 15 minutes without turning off on this road you will come to at t junction turn right to franschhoek .19 km over bridge and once in franschhoek turn right at spar .Realou is 500m down on the left hand side . Recommended -from the airport on the n1 highway from cape town past Bellville and Brackenfell turnoffs. Take the next turnoff named Stellenbosch Klapmuts and turn right at the stop. About 500 meters 1500 feet, further, pass over the 4 way stop. After the 4 way stop turn left at the Franschhoek sign. Carry on with this road until it ends into a T-junction right after the railway tracks at which you turn right on the way to franschhoek. This road will take you straight into franschhoek approximately 15km 9.3 miles
