Coming towards Durban from Pietermaritzburg:
Take the N2 south to the airport and Port Shepstone.
You can leave the N2 at the Hibberdene turn off, to continue along the coastal road, (R102 becoming R620- see map) or you can take the N2 straight to Port Shepstone, for a faster journey.
There is a R5 toll payable on this road. (St Faith’s turn-off).
To: Shelly Beach & Margate:
After Port Shepstone, turn left at the robots (3rd set) continuing along R620, which is called Marine Drive. Take the 2nd left, across a narrow gage track (the Banana Express) and turn left into North Road, following the signs to “La Providence” bed and breakfast.
Edge of the Sea is the 5th house after La Providence, on the beach Rd.
