1 If traveling from Tsolo: on your approach to Maclear, go over the first stop street.
At the top of the street at the N.G.Church turn left - following the signs to the village of Rhodes - here we have a “Woodcliffe Cave Trails 22km” signboard.
2 Alternatively if traveling from the Mt Fletcher side :on your approach to Maclear, you will pass the Royal Hotel on your LHS, the NG Church will be on your RHS. Turn right at the NG Church - following the signs to the village of Rhodes - here we have a “Woodcliffe Cave Trails 22km” signboard.
3 Alternatively if traveling from Elliot & Ugie side : at first stop street in Maclear turn left . Travel up the main street of Maclear . At the top of the street the road will split into at the NG Church . Follow signs “Rhodes via Naude’s Nek “to the left .
4. Turn first right in front of a big stone home
Turn right at the stop street. The road changes to gravel as you leave town.
Travel 14 km and turn left at the “Woodcliffe Cave Trails 7km “
Travel 7km. The road splits into 3:Take the middle option to Woodcliffe farmhouse & collect cottage key .
. Travel past the front of my double storey slate roofed house , bearing left ..At the staff quarters keep left & travel past the stone kraal. The cottage will be visible from here.
Expected traveling time Durban – Woodcliffe is approx. 5 hours.
