Map/Directions to Black Forest Mountain Lodge
Directions:
From Johannesburg, take the N1 highway to Polokwane (Pietersburg).
Once you reach the city of Polokwane, travel straight through the city. You will remain in Grobler Street through the city. On exiting the city, you will pass McDonalds Fast Food outlet on your right.
The road now becomes the R71 to Tzaneen. Continue for approximately 57 km on the R71. You will pass through Zion Christian City. As you reach the little mountain village of Haenertsburg, you will see Picassos (a wooden chalet-style restaurant) on your left. Virtually opposite you will see a road marker D. Take this sand road. Please drive with caution if it is raining or has been raining.
You will pass Bali Will Will bed & breakfast establishment on your left & the turnoff to the Yukon cabin on your right. After traveling approximately 3.8 km along this road you will arrive at the entrance to Black Forest Mountain Lodge, where you will be warmly welcomed.
