Directions:
To Gonubie from Durban Kwa Zulu Natal (Durban):
Drive along down the main Highway from Durban towards the South. Travel via Kokstad through the Transkei.
In the Transkei you’ll pass through Qumbu, Umtata, Idutywa and Butterworth.
About 35km passed Butterworth, you’ll start to enter the Great Kei River pass, cross the Great Kei River and continue on towards East London. About 50 km.
You’ll be traveling along the N3 Highway. At the 1st Intersection that mentions Gonubie, take the off ramp. Turn Left at the Stop sign. Next turn Right at the 1st Next Traffic Light. Travel 3.3 km and you’ll be at a fork in the road, after the speed-hump. Take the right hand fork (towards the sea) and German Bay Lodge is on your right.
It is a Red Face Brick Double Storey building with a green roof (2nd building on your right). There is a Lamp Post outside with a B&B sign on it.
