Map/Directions to a` La Fugue Guest House
Directions:
1. Should you arrive from Johanneburg-Oelifantshoek: Upon arrival in view of the town you must watch your left hand side for the panel UPINGTON; then 2 kms further on your left you will see an ENGEN gaz station, turn left towards the Engen, and then left again - you will see on your right a nursery called ONS TUIN and on your right a shop called BI-LO - from there, count 4 streets on your right, the fourth one is Jangroentjieweg (the name of the street is written in yellow on the floor and it is quite a curvy street alongside the canal) A la Fugue is nr 40 and on your right you will see the sigh shown above.
2. Should you arrive from Groeblershoop: Then enter the town and look for Schroederstreet (nearest street to the river on your right) direction Oelifantshoek, go through the town and you will pass on your right Protea hotel and further on your left a big white church followed by Bike World - continue and drive under the railway bridge, you will further see on your right, first the police station with the statue of a soldier on a camel, and 400 m further right will be the Gordonia hospital, then drive further about 800 m and you will see the famous Engen gaz station on your right; now turn right and then immediately left you shall see the Nursery Ons Tuin, then, follow as explain on point 1.
3. Should you arrive from Kghalagadi Gemsbok transfrontier park, or from Namibia: follow the road towards Upington until you see the sign Oelifantshoek (but do not go all the way into town); you will arrive on Rondom Street (a two lanes street) turn left and follow (still direction Oelifantshoek) towards the end until it rejoins Schroederstreet-N14; then turn left and shortly you will see the Engen garage on your right; now turn right and then immediately left you shall see the Nursery Ons Tuin, then, follow as explain on point 1.
4. If you arrive by plane, from the airport follow the road toward Upington until you see the sign Oelifantshoek (but do not go all the way into town); you will arrive on Rondom Street (a two lanes street) turn left and follow (still direction Oelifantshoek) towards the end of Rondom until it rejoins Schroederstreet-N14; then turn left and shortly you will see the Engen garage on your right; now turn right and then immediately left you shall see the Nursery Ons Tuin, then, follow as explain on point 1.
