Description: Fully booked fdrom 26th December, 07 to 2nd January, 2008 O Lar Do Ouro Guest Lodge, set in tranquil valley of Ponta Do Ouro offers 7 fully air-condtioned en-suite rooms, all rooms have netting on windows doors and over beds. The lodge is fully licensed and boasts a swimming pool, lounge and dining area set in tropical gardens. All accommodation is booked on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis. Early morning tea/coffee is served in the rooms (at no extra cost). Complimentary tea/coffee & fruit available all day. The beach is a few minutes walk away through the quaint village or you can relax at the pool and listen to the "hum" of the sea. The lodge is owner managed by Teresa and she will pamper to your every need from early morning tea/coffee to exotic sundowners or late night shooters in the bar. For as the logo says "Um lar fora de casa" and this is exactly the ambience we have created. Light meals are served at the bar/pool area between 12 and 14h30. The lodge has no family units available. Guests travelling down by car will be picked up at the border by staff from the Lodge. There is a car park at the border which is safe and secure and currently costs R20.00 per day. We also arrange a door to door service relating to scuba diving, scenic trips, fishing, fly-fishing, swimming with the dolphins etc. There is safe and secure parking on the SA side of the border for those without 4x4?s, border transfers undertaken at no extra cost. Note: All non South African tourists require an entry visa which can be obtained from the Mozambican Embassy/Consulate for a cost of +/-R80/R100, you will also need 2 ID photos to accompany your application and a passport that is still valid for another 6 months minimum.
