There is a shower bathroom, lounge and kitchen with a fridge, freezer, convection oven and hot plate. This cottage overlooks a pretty little duck pond on one side and the orchard on the other. The larger cottage has 2 double beds and a single in the bedroom and another double bed in the lounge. (The bed in the lounge is very popular because of its close proximity to the fireplace and TV). This cottage has a large kitchen with full stove, fridge, deepfreeze etc. It also has its own fenced garden and we are happy to accommodate one or two well-behaved dogs. There is a weber braai at each of the cottages. Both cottages have M-Net so you don`t have to plan your holiday around the rugby. Our smallholding nestles at the base of the Inhlosane mountain range in the heart of KZN`s trout dam and access to many other trout dams on nearby farms. The birdlife is stunning - from the Cape vultures and black eagles that nest on the mountain to the Kingfishers and pearl-spotted owls that live in our garden. We are visited daily by duiker, reed and bushbuck that feed off the windfall in the orchard or come to drink at one of our streams. Dargle is a most beautiful area and is suitable for biking, hiking, birding, fishing, or just goofing off in safe surroundings. We provide the perfect place for relaxing in our beautiful parklike gardens. Horse riding is available at nearby venues and there are lovely mountain walks of varying degrees of difficulty. Our farm animals are very friendly and children are welcome to help with the milking and feeding. There are 4 eating establishments/pubs ranging from 1 to 20kms away.
