There are 3 fully equipped cottages with every thing you need as well as 12 camping & or caravan sites on this beautiful 64ha farm with about 4ha of gardens and 1.5ha of dams. Magoebaskloof Getaway Cottages are serenely situated in a beautiful fertile valley in the scenic mountainous setting of Magoebaskloof, only 15km from the historic village of Haenertsburg and a mere 23km from Tzaneen. The cottages are less than three hours drive from Pretoria. You can walk through the forests and river while enjoying and experiencing the call of the prolific birdlife in a peaceful environment. This district boasts some of the most beautiful and exotic gardens in South Africa. Come Fly-fishing in the beautiful mountains of Magoebaskloof (on any of the two dam on the farm) for Trout or Bass. There is also a volley ball court, jungle gym for the kids and a beautiful hiking trail with three lovely waterfalls. Come and experience nature at it best. Accommodation: Narina: (sleeps 4) This self catering cottage has a bathroom/shower, lounge, dining room/kitchen which is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, fire place, braai area and personal garden with ponds. Trout: (sleeps 6) This fully self catering cottage has a room with a double bed and another room with two single beds. It also has a shower/toilet, lounge/dining room and kitchen which is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, fire place, braai area and personal garden with ponds. Samango: (sleeps 11) This magnificent cottage has a beautiful 14m x 4m wooden deck with x2 reclining wooden sun beds and x3 wooden table benches. This self catering cottage has four bedrooms with a queen size bed, one double bed and a single bed and two other bedroom which each having two single beds each. It also has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave. There are two bathroom/shower with toilet and basins. There are two lounges, with one having a dining room and another lounge has a fire place and a pull out bed. In the personal garden there is a braai area with ponds and dams. The cottages are fully equipped with all bedding, towels, soap, toilet paper and cooking utensils. Braai facilities are in each cottages garden. For those guests wishing to do something different, we recommend the following interesting activities off the farm: The kruger National Park is only 130km, away - about an hour and a half's drive. Horse Riding on trails within 5km. Bird watching all around. Debegeni waterfall, with walking trails, swimming, braai'ing and picnics 7km. Fly fishing in our river and dams nearby. Viewing of the Ebenezer, Tzaneen, Magoebaskloof and Dap Naude dams. Agatha Crocodile Ranch (with guided educational and entertainment tours daily) about 35km away.
