Description: Vanrhynsdorp is located 291km north of Cape Town on the N7 highway. The area is well known for its spectacular sandstone formations and ancient rock art left behind by the San People.
The Kokerboom Succulent Nursery found locally is the larges of its kind in the world with over 500 succulent species. From May to August there is a succulent show. A number of war graves from the Anglo-Boer War can be found in and around the town.
