The picturesque Hout Bay Valley offers just about everything for the discerning traveller. Each season more and more people are returning to this beautiful and unique part of Cape Town, with its sheltered beach and glimmering sea, quaint fishing village and rural atmosphere. Hout Bay offers everything the holidaymaker or visiting businessman could desire - fine restaurants, a variety of shops and a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities including, for the more adventurous, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, horse riding and hiking. Should you want to travel further afield, Hout Bay is centrally situated, a few minutes' drive from golf courses, sporting stadiums, wine estates, theatres and, of course, Cape Town itself. Each cottage is individually decorated and fully and luxuriously equipped with all the amenities and conveniences which you require. Each of the cottages has its own television and sound system and they are all fully serviced. Continental breakfasts are available on request. The cottages are all self-contained and set in a lush garden through which a rippling river weaves artfully. Orchard & River Cottages: These are two studio apartments, each of which is tastefully and individually furnished and fitted. They are both special and exclusive. An outdoor jacuzzi, set among palms and tree ferns, adds to the special magic of these two studio apartments. River Cottage comprises an entrance hall, en suite bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette. The double bedroom opens out onto a patio which is within touching distance of our stream. Orchard Studio is decorated in bright, vibrant colours. It has an en suite bedroom and large sitting area, with television and sound system. The french doors open up onto a private Orchard patio, alongside a water fountain. Paddock Lodge is superbly designed and supremely comfortable accommodation in Hout Bay. The entrance hall opens onto a comfortable lounge with fireplace, television and sound system. An open plan kitchen and dining area features a cosy fireplace, and leads on to the patio. Paddock Lodge comprises an entrance hall leading to tastefully decorated lounge with fireplace, TV, M-Net, video and sound system. Open plan, fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob and microwave. It leads to a dining room with fireplace. There are two double / twin bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. Spacious enclosed verandah with sliding doors and windows opens onto large, lush private garden with swimming pool and Weber braai. Sleeps 4/5 people. Paddock Loft: The entrance is via the orchard. Loft apartment with stunning mountain and garden views. Double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Delightful sitting room area with TV and sound system. Well-equipped kitchenette. Wooden deck overlooks orchard and mountains. Sleeps 2 people. The Tree House is a secluded wooden cottage comprising a spacious open plan lounge with fireplace, TV. M-Net, video and sound system. Tree House offers a well-equipped kitchenette with oven, hob and microwave. There are two double / twin bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms and the sliding doors from the lounge open onto a large, private wooden deck overlooking our river. Tree House sleeps 4 people.
