Bed and breakfast accommodation is situated in the main house. This historical building built in 1926 was the original farmhouse overlooking Chakas Rock sitting in 1 acre of lush tropical garden. Although it has been fully renovated it features Oregon pine floors which echo the atmosphere of a bygone era. The large lounge offers visitors an opportunity to relax, read a book from our library or watch TV. The side doors open out onto the patio and provide a welcome breeze from the sea. The main guest suite provides ample room, and with the doors opening out onto the terrace to provide a wonderful view of KwaZulu-Natal's natural vegetation and the blue of the Indian Ocean. Other rooms within the main house can be made up as twins or King size on request. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans. The self catering unit at The Guesthouse called Plumbago features an open plan living area and lounge with a separate bedroom with double bed. The open plan sleeping area has a single bed / double pull down divan. The bathroom has a shower, wc and hand basin. It has ample parking for your car and its own private entrance. Lounge, Kitchen and Comfortable bedroom with double bed and built in cupboards. All linen is provided. A full English country breakfast is served outside on the verandah each morning and a 3-course table d'hôte meal or traditional South African braai (barbeque) is available for your dining pleasure each evening.
