Description: Welcome to Hazelwood House, situated on the lower slopes of Stellenbosch Mountain, in a quiet, safe and leafy residential area, yet only 3 mins. by car or a 10 mins. walk to the town centre All our six spacious double bedrooms are named after South African birds and the decor of each reflects their appropriate colours. Loerie, our 'cottage' consists of two bedrooms, both en suite, a large sitting room, private patio with braai facilities, also a well fitted kitchen, own entrance and parking. Roller, a very spacious room, has also its own entrance and parking, together with a kitchen, fully fitted bathroom and private patio. The three rooms in the main house are of course en suite, with private patios but must be booked on a bed and breakfast basis since no kitchens. We are fortunate in having very large lush indigenous gardens, in which is an enormous salt water pool - proper swimming is possible. We, Peter and Jane, having run a successful small hotel in the U.K, moved here in 2002 and know the importance of attention to detail to ensure our guests, whether returning, or new to our house, will have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We are very proud that our diligent staff has been with us since the day we arrived here. We are 4 star rated by the TGCSA. Hazelwood is well situated for visiting numerous golf courses, vineyards, restaurants, all the amenities of Stellenbosch and the coast yet only 35 mins. to the airport and 40 mins. to central Cape Town.
